about unsettle

unsettle is a multi-arts project delivered by Digi Youth Arts as part of a long-term artist in residency at the Queensland Museum. Supported by renowned Queensland-based Indigenous artists, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people will respond to the cultural landscape of major arts institutions through street art, theatre, film, visual art, dance and music. The project will produce two long term exhibitions in street art and visual art, a new theatre work, 3 new short-films, 2 new dance works and a music collaboration culminating in a recording and performance.

DYA have many opportunities for young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to learn from some of the best, make some art and have it shown at the Queensland Museum. Below are links to the expression of interest forms for each art form:
