Backbone HUB Residency Partnership

Backbone Youth Arts have engaged with Digi Youth Arts to help deliver their annual HUB Residency program. This partnership shows Digi Youth Arts mentoring the First Nations Youth Artist participant of the residency. A total of four youth creatives will be supported with their creative and personal development with $5000, 100 hours of access to Backbone Youth Arts at the Seven Hills Hub and mentoring from Backbone and Digi Youth Arts. The Ancient Bloods 3.0

In 2023 and 2024 we see a new iteration of The Ancient Bloods.

Digi Youth Arts have engaged with the Atlas Creative team, Sachem Parkin-Owens, Lachlan Caskey and Shan Jacobe to deliver, mentor and produce new music with our young people. The third iteration of The Ancient Bloods consists of Emelia Stacy, Gara Doolah, Shaieisha Towler and Gill McInnes. These talented musicians have been writing, recording and creating, working towards the release of a new EP,’Blended’.

DYA Team Update

In 2023 we had significant internal changes in our team with Che Skeen (Wakka Wakka/Birri Gubba) taking on the role of Artistic Director and Misteria Towler (Wiradjuri) taking on the role of Producer, following the resignation of previous Artistic Director Alethea Beetson and Creative Producer Loki Liddle.
