 DYA x Buttery Scholarship Program

Digi Youth Arts and The Buttery Music School have teamed up to provide free music lessons to First Nations Youth based in Meanjin via our new Buttery X Digi Youth Arts Music Scholarship Program!

To begin we are providing 10 weeks of weekly music lessons to two young legends in Term Two, 2024. All lessons will take place at The Buttery Music School, 217 MacArthur Avenue, Hamilton.

Scholarship 1 - Weekly 30-minute lessons in a small group (max 4 students) for a little one aged 5 to 7 years old. The participant will join the Little Rockers program where they will adventure in melody and rhythm through games and playing on a bunch of different instruments.

Scholarship 2 - Weekly 45-minute 1-on-1 lessons for an individual aged 8 to 25 years old. You have a choice to learn any of the following: guitar, drums, vocals, bass guitar, keys and songwriting.

When do the lessons take place? Weekly during Term Two, Monday 15 April - Friday 21 June.

Media Consent: At the final lesson of the term, we will have a videographer come along to film you in your lesson, rocking what you have been working on throughout the term! This video will be shown on The Buttery Music School and Digi Youth Arts social media and websites. Parental/guardian consent will be required.
